The former Hartlepool United, Berwick Rangers and Blyth Spartans forward Greg joined Whitby Town from National League North side Spennymoor Town in July 2018 and after scoring 4 times in pre-season he made his debut in the opening game of the 2018/19 season a 1-0 victory at the Turnbull Ground over Buxton on Saturday 18th August 2018, he was in and out of the starting 11 for most of the season because of niggling injuries going on to make 14 (+16 as a substitute) appearances that season, he scored his 1st goal for the club in the 6-1 thrashing of Grangetown Boys Club in a North Riding Senior Cup 1st round tie at the Turnbull Ground on Tuesday 20th November 2018 going on to complete his hat-trick. Season 2019/20 once again saw Greg struggle with injuries, he went off injured in his only league start for the club that season, the 2-1 home victory over Morpeth Town on the 26th August 2019 and managed to only make a further 3 (+8 as a sub) appearances for the club before the season was ended due to the Corona virus. Greg scored in the 6-0 victory over Redcar Newmarket in a North Riding Senior Cup 1st round tie at the Turnbull Ground on the 19th November 2019 with his last appearance in a Whitby shirt coming in the 2-1 away defeat at Stafford Rangers on Saturday 13th April 2020 coming off the bench in the 79th minute. He was released by the club in April 2020 after the season was at an end.

In total Greg made 41 (24 as a substitute) appearances for Whitby Town scoring 4 goals.
